Spinks and Old Larry for sure, both quality wins and better than anything either klit have on their resumes

True.. But in Vitali's defense i will say that the 39 year old Lewis was PROBABLY better than the 38 year old Holmes, due to his size, still existing power and tactical skills..

Tony Tubbs was Tyson's best win. Holmes was old, fat, retired, and overrated to begin with. Spinks was a LHW.

To be fair though the 2 years of inactivity showed in the Tyson fight. When he met Mercer he'd had 6 fights in a year.

What's that got to do with it?? Tyson's win against Holmes has been denigrated because he was too old...four years later Holmes manages to go the distance with mercer and Holyfield...who both gave a prime Lewis all he could handle.....:patsch

His rematch victory over bruno is his most ferocious performance imo.

P.s. I wish hendo would get off the klit's dicks... This is a thread about tyson not your heroes.

No need to diminish the destruction of spinks either, he was the world champ and had beaten atg top ten larry holmes twice.

Spinks, the lineal HW Champ, undefeated, never been knocked off his feet...Down twice and KO'd in about 91 seconds by Tyson...Great win...

Holyfield had enough power to put Prime Bowe on his ass, Prime Mercer, etc, and judging from Lewis' performance in his 2 fights with ancient Holyfield, Lewis thought he had plenty of power...

For pure excitement/hype, IMO in was his fights with Ruddock...The build up to those fights was amazing and I still remember when the bell rang to start their first fight and they charged out and each threw a shot that had it connected would've took the other's head off.

As a fan of both fighters, I remember I couldn't even eat for like two days before the fight I was so nervous/hyped! Good times! :D
