Tyson's opponents did not look scared. Bruno did and that is about it.

Spinks was a joke in the Tyson fight. He looked awful worried, but the way he fought he looked even worse.
He neither committed himself fully to punching or to running and clinching, he was like a deer caught in headlights.
He only took the fight because he'd been built up into such a big-money challenge. He knew he wasn't equipped to fight any young heavyweight, nevermind one with speed and power like Tyson, but when there's $13 million on the table .......

 

Tyson was afraid everytime out...........those guy's wanted to hurt him too. He was just better than they were.

 

Tony Tubbs told his trainer before the fight........"When that mutha****er starts hurtin' me, you betta come get my ass."

Distracted , unsure , felt there was something missing - Yes

Terrified - Definatley not . Manny up until the Hatton fight hasnt shown one punch knockout power , generally working them up and down , and finishing fighter in the middle , late rounds.

Tyson on the other hand was knocking 6 4 - 260lbs heavies out in 90 seconds.

Big difference.

 

Alex Stewart ALWAYS looked frightened entering the ring and who knows WHA McCall used to be thinking before the bell.

 

Spinks looked like he was about to **** his trunks.

 

I thought I was the only one who noticed that! He looked like he was being led to the gallows during his ring walk.

 

Maybe this can remind some people as well. Being born in the early 80's Tyson was when I was introduced to the sport. I was shocked.I laughed.I was amazed and then I damn near cried after watching this.:|

Jesus we need someone like him again, **** his history, he is near enough the only fighter that made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.
Compare him to the pile of **** we have now as champions.
