Tysons speed post 1999 is overrated

    I'd say underrated at this point if anything. Yeah, commentators were bolstering a potential cash cow... what a surprise. People today act like he was shot in 1999. He was definitely too foregone with that style, but he was still better than most HWs. His problem as most mentioned was he couldn't sustain the pace. Not that he wasn't dangerous or still somewhat fast within the opening rounds. His KO over Savarese showed good speed (And bizarreness). You think average speed then what do you think of Liston's clubbing finish of Williams? Clunky and slow I'd imagine. No, I'd say Liston's speed was closer to average. Tyson was still one of the faster HW punchers around.
