When Kosta Tyszu fought Ricky Hatton I think he laid the framework for Floyd Mayweather jr. to beat Ricky Hatton I am pretty sure Floyd probably watched this fight and was able to exploit the fact that Ricky lunges straight in from time to time dropping his right hand and leaves himself open to the counter left hook. In the American Showtime broadcast of the fight they refrence it often how Tyszu is able to hit Hatton with the left hook rewatch the fight, he does it several times but as they say in the broadcast Tyszu's Lefthook is not his best punch his straight right was his best also Tyszu is just not quite fast enough to land the punch as cleanly as Mayweather Jr. was able to when he KO Hatton.

Collazo laid the blueprint I'd say.

    Or Eamon Magee years ago.

You just needed to frustrate Hatton to get him wild.

Hopefully now he has ditched that joke of a corner man he will think a bit more.

    Looked great against Mallinaggi.

When your fighting two men at the same time,it makes you considerably easier to be beat.

Magee landed the 'check hook' on Hatton years before Floyd.

I'd say he showed that weakness, though Floyd would've figured it out anyway.

What a load of crap. I like Hatton but he was beaten fair and square by the better man.

Honestly, PBF didnt need to see Tszyu lose to Hatton to know that he had what it took. Styles make fights, PBF has the right style and tools.

Hatton at 140, in England with a neutral ref would have still been beaten imo but the fight would have been more of a competition imo rather than target practice.

147 - His 2nd fight at this weight when he looked **** first time around. Needs his head examined.

Joe Cortez - In Steve Collins own words "This man is an excuse for a boxing referee, terrible" and I agree, worst top ref out there, and that bloody smile of his!!! (Shudders). Come back Lane/Steele all is forgiven!!!!

This is standard though.Fighters watch tapes of their projected opponents previous fights all the time.Thats how you devise gameplans and strategies.
This 'A gave B the blueprint to beating C' line can be used Ad infinitum.

I agree. Tszyu's best punch of the night was the left hook.

He said after the fight he was frustrated that he couldn't twist his jab more.
