sorry,im still trying to work out the 'invisible' bit.:huh

Exactly. Rahman's chin is MUCH worse than Wlad's. Wlad actually got up in those fights. With Rahman, it was one - and done. :nod

If Wladimir had gotten hit with the same right hands Oleg and Lennox caught Rahman with he would have gotten knocked out as well. With his height and his defense, Wlad is very difficult to hit flush.

Punches usually are location, or the ones you do not see that KO you.
Example is Ali= Knocked down, and NEARLY out by a 180 LB Cooper, yet after that fight, Ali was able to take shots harder than that from Frazier...Norton...Foreman, and he withstood all those, except Fraziers' 1971 15th rounder, but Ali got up.

Wlads chin is very weak, you dont get knocked down 12 times and TKOd 3 times having a average chin. Wlad has learned how to better deal with his glass jaw by clinching and throwing great jabs to fend other fighters off.

The last fighter to test the chin was Peter, and Wlad was hurt and down a couple times, if manny wasnt with Wlad then he probably would of been TKOd that night. The fighters that have been fighting Wlad lately have not been able to really test Wlads chin, and the last time he was really hit solid was over 2 years ago.

Time will tell wether Wlads chin is just collecting dust or by some miracle it has improved, I just hope we see a heavywieght has the ability to get on the inside and test it out.

There's no proof for that whatsoever. Fact is, when Wlad's been knocked to the canvas, he's gotten UP. His stoppage losses were TKOs, not BRUTAL KOs like Rahman suffered.

The key in evaluating chins is the QUALITY of the KO, not the QUANTITY. Both Rahman and Wlad have been stopped three times, but Rahman was knocked the F*CK out, Wlad wasn't. There should be NO question that Rahman's chin is MUCH worse than Wlad's.:-(

Too many have already made fun of the invisible Wlad typo :rofl

Agree. But unless Rahman's chin is paper mache, then Wlad has close to an average chin - which by definition is what most fighters have.

Why do so many (this is not directed at you) seem to believe that a fighter either has a good to great chin or a "glass jaw". Outside the hate factor :-(, it's as if many don't think there is a middle ground :think

Wlad got cuaght with a much hard punch than either of those when he wa fighting Sam Peter, and shook it off. Peter hit him with the same left hook he hit Sykes, Williams and others with that resulted in KDs and KOs, but Wlad did not go down from it.

If there was 3 more Wlads, all that would happen is they'd keep fighting bums and never eachother.

Wlad needs to be fighting the other belt champions, and only them.

Again I mention the factor of the only fight they both have in common( I think it's the only one) Rahman got hit by Corrie Sanders, got up recovered and KOed him bad, Wladimir did not and was not even able to stand up cleary. One of the KOs that Wlad suffered against Sanders, he just fell on the floor. Wlad's chin is a bit below avarage at best.Someone brought a very good point, the count for wlad vs. sanders was like 11-14 seconds long, so he would have been "KOed". You guys are misunderstanding my point and are talking as is I'm hating on the guy and I'm not. I just think that in the last 4 years the only champ he has fought is Byrd and hasn't chose to unify the titles, if he unified them that would shut me up for good. Also my point is to shut those people that act as if he was never beaten or as if he will never lose again <--- for that there is no solid proof. In the boxing ring, anything can happen!

Wladdy is the best heavyweight by default. He is only good because everybody else in the division isnt any good. This will hurt his legacy when he retires.

At 6'6" and 240 pounds, Wlad is quite easy to see. He would stand out in a crowd of people. Even his staunchest supporters wouldn't claim that he is invisible
