He's with Freddie Roach and the Wildcard Gym gang, right?

He's got a wicked looking hook, and he seems to be more polished compared to most young fighters. He's Armenian-American, right?

I saw a couple of his fights, one of the undercards on Pac's last few fights.

I'm rooting for him. Go Armenia! Go Vanes!

I like his style, old school and agressive as hell.

Ya that his usuall gym, but his currently in Texas with Ronni Shields. Its a temporary change so he can focus better.

His got an impressive arsenal. He is polished but not all the way though. he is a little wild, very aggressive. Theyre trying to get him to work behind the jab more. Yes, his an Armenian-American.
 Thanx, his an exciting fighter, his good for the sport.

vanes is coming along fine. i think the switch to houston will do him some good. he's a celebrity in his own community with the armenian ppl....in houston....i'm sure he's anonymous. not sure ronnie shields can give him much....i know he was probably being overlooked at wildcard by freddie....but eric is a decent coach too....he's just not well known.

Arthur Abraham and Vic Darchinyan are two very good Armenian boxers. Vanes looks very good in the ring and could be a future star. Are there any more Armenian fighters out there?

    OFF TOPIC

...(Calabrese's avatar) This is Kimberly Kardashian, right? Isn't she also Armenian?

Imagine if she was a worldclass boxer. Women boxing would be VERY popular.
