World scene as in top 10 ranked fighters at the weight that have mixed it in good company. Perez was borderline, Litzau was flattered by recent results and Ponce was moving up a weight and was judged by most to have won the fight against Broner.

 

Uchiyama fights on terrestrial TV and in packed out arenas in Japan. If his handlers wanted to bring Broner over, then they'd have the cash to do so. But Broner doesn't have anything they'd want.

 

Japanese would say they are not interested at WBO champs, Broner would KO them both

 

Someone like Juan Carlos Salgado or Argenis Mendez. Talented, proven guys who would actually be a test for Broner. If he's receiving HBO money, then he should be fighting the top people in the division.

 

Who cares if he lost a close, somewhat controversial decision away from home to a top 5 guy at the weight? What did Vicente Martin Rodriguez do - other build up a padded record - to earn a shot for the vacant WBO title against Broner?
