hope this happens but doubt uchiyama will leave japan, they're happy fighting hopeless mando's once they get a belt and staying home where they're loved and get paid well. and lets face it, there has anever been a bidding american hbo star heading over to japan to unify, hbo wouldn't cover that **** so it ain't going down.

ps gamboas perfomance against solis was better, Solis was damaged vs Uchiyama but the KO was mad legit.

A queen who combs his hair at fights...
This guy is going to be decent. But the Mayweather comparisons are demented. He will NEVER be anything approaching half of that. Jees...

Or maybe it's because the guy is a ***** and his ******* fans think he's God's gift to mankind, even though he couldn't legitimately beat Daniel Ponce De Leon. The same guy Juanma blew out in a round, and who a half dozen others have beaten comfortably.

Wake me up when Broner actually faces a good fighter.

There's a difference between being a good slick black fighter and being a wannabe. There's a much better slick black fighter nobody's actually paying attention to who's fighting Zab Judah in a week. And then there's guys like Brad Solomon and Austin Trout who are much, much better than Broner but nobody seems to give a **** about.

You can like Broner if you want to, but try to avoid being a hypocritical dickhead in the process.

All over Broner, but no love for Vernon Paris, who's even from Michigan, and unlike Broner's bull**** act, is a REAL G, having been shot once and stabbed twice? And who's twice as slick as Broner?

but Pac stopped him before Gamboa. Going by this logic, does that mean he was already damaged before facing Gamboa?

Well he is under Haymon so...., seems the best route would be to simply fight guys he can look good against, Broner can definitely deliver a flashy KO and they can just rattle off flashy KO's on HBO and rake in some decent cash and avoid Ponce De Leon and others of that ilk (read: possessing a pulse)

Kellerman can go all P Willy on him but instead of "most feared man in boxing" maybe "flashiest, most exciting fighter" and Haymon, when finalizing the contract where HBO can't mention Floyd's pending jail time can have them sign where they can never refer back to the Ponce De Leon fight in a negative light, if at all.

Then ***** Nation can create exciting clips of HBO knockouts and Broner getting his hair combed. And everyone who hasn't fought Broner is scared and Broner is of course, being forced to fight the best that have the guts to fight him....it'll be great zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

    :deal

...and while Gamboa would give Broner a great run for his money (possibly batter him all night), even considering Gamboa an HBO fighter seeing how he's with Mayweather Promotions now, I doubt the fight happens on the short term. That's one I'd really, really like to see despite the difference in size.

Um Vernon Paris barely got past Emmanuel Augustus. Broner is only 22 years old and since a hiccup against an experienced vet has blown out his competition.

Seriosly Vernon Paris more talented then Broner. :nut

Vernon Paris is not as talented as Broner nor until recently as dedicated. Clearly you havent been following his career go boxrec him and see that hes struggled with journeymen.

Paris is only a year and a half older than Broner, and Broner has struggled with journeymen as well. The difference is that Paris hasn't been focused when he's struggled, but Broner has been, at least by your logic. And unlike the guys Paris struggled with, the guys Broner struggled with were handpicked by the Al Haymon and GBP machine, and were guys he was SUPPPOSED to look good against.

So why would someone like Broner and not Paris?

Because Broner's a G? Paris is twice as gangsta. He's been shot and stabbed and arrested for drugs. (And I'd go so far as to say that Broner not only isn't G, but he's a spoiled little brat)

Because Broner's a slick African American? Paris is about twice as slick as Broner and moves like young James Toney. Broner loses rounds because he gets hit, Paris loses rounds because he takes them off (and it is a real issue that he takes too many rounds off).

Because Broner's a big talker from the midwest? Paris is from your own home state and was always talking a ton of **** before he started to clean up a little a year or so ago.

Because Broner is on the Haymon/HBO hype machine? That must be it.

Too bad Burns-Broner didn't happen. That would have at least helped provide a guidepost here. Perhaps he has improved since PDL, but I'm skeptical. I'd love to see him fight someone like Salido.

Leave the G-list for the qualified professionals please. And Paris did make the last P4P G-List Btw.

In a strictly boxing sense, Paris isnt as good as Broner. I've been following Paris for 3 years. And I still see nothing but a solid gatekeeper.
