Thought it was fair. Uchiyama showed his age and just could not land anything big after the fifth. Takashi had shown his age years ago, but maybe it was just his lack of motivation. Who knows? Odd how some fighters age so fast even if they have only a few physically draining fights. And Corrales is not that good actually. Top tier material for sure, but i don’t see him as a legitimate threat against the best in the division.
Didn't get to see the fight, but from what I read Uchiyama was beating up Corrales for at least the first half of the fight, so I was surprised to see Jezreel get the nod.
117-110 was the correct score. Uchiyama was awarded a dubious kd in rd 5 in a rd he would lost otherwise and without it would have lost 11 rds. Corrales was inaccurate for the most part but was much busier than Uch who had no trigger. Uchy took til the 10th rd to land anything of significance. Judge Milham who scored 6 rds a piece needs to retire and be put out to pasture.
There's no "deserving" in any competitive sport. if he lost fair and square that's that. Uchiyama had a good career... Father time caught up to him though.
