There seemed to be a general consensus feeling of let down when this card was announced. The card seemed solid, but it lacked the divisional significant fight that the last few cards had. Penn vs Florian ended any doubt who the man is at 155. Pierre vanquished his only threat at 170. Lesnar wrapped up the UFC belt mess at heavy. Still, UFC 102 managed to be a great show. Marquardt and Maia was a significant fight for its division, and though didn't settle the question of who is best at 185, it allowed Marquardt to establish himself as the most worthy challenger of the Hendo and Silva rematch winner. And what about that knock out? Rosholt and Leben was a decent scrap, and Jardine and Silva was fun while it lasted. Then you had the main event. Nogueira turned back the clock, and showed up in his best UFC condition yet. Couture, whose clock still needs no winding, came to inspire us all again. Couture quite possibly made the most competitive showing I've ever seen without winning a round. Couture denied what seemed to be a sure ending on numerous occasions, and managed to ring Nog's bell a few times in the process. I feel honored to watch two of the sport's legends battle it out like they did. That fight may mean little in divisional significance, but it was a better fight than the aforementioned UFC main events of this post.
I havent where can you find it I love watching Gonzaga kick someones ass that man is a beast unless you can put pressure or hits on him.
Just saw it on mma-core.com and wow Tuchsherer first the dude gets his nuts kicked up into his stomach, then hes rolling around on the mat in pain, they tell him they are going to stop it then he panics and flops and like a fish out of water and then starts puking and puts his mouthpiece back in lol. Fight restarts he about has his head kicked off and brutally raped on the ground and bleeding everywhere bout he keeps trying to fight. Tough guy he is almost feel bad for him though. Damn 102 was a violent night.
Yep, Nog/Couture was the fight of the night. Crushed that Maia got finished before he had a chance to show that skill on the ground.
