Rampage briefly retired from active fighting to pursue an acting career. He is playing "B.A." in the new A-Team movie. Supposedly he is coming back soon to go through with the fight with Rashad - but it won't happen when it was supposed to.
I know. Can you imagine trying to keep a straight face when Diego explains how he invented the "yes" cartwheel? :rofl
I think I am starting to understand the "Flo" part. Its blood "flow' this cat cuts everybody up, he leaves guys cut up like a Puerto Rican knife fight.
Florian really is a damn good fighter. Fantastic jiu jitsu and striking that keeps getting better. He's not as good as BJ, obviously, but he's got to be the second best guy in the division.
Kenny is a good fighter and even an excellent one - but to be great one has to beat a great fighter. Kenny has yet to do that. He comes up short every time he steps up in class. BJ Penn is a GREAT fighter and working on his bid for entry into the MMA ATG pantheon.
BJ already is in the ATG Pantheon. Kenny has come up short only with BJ.. He would molest Sherk now IMHO. Diegos doing the no cartwheel right about now.
Until Kenny redeems those losses to Diego Sanchez and Sean Sherk - he's at best the fourth or fifth best fighter in the division. There's a guy out there named Frankie Edgar that is making a serious case for top 5 ranking however. An Edgar/Florian match seems a natural to determine a number one contender.
:good I'm starting to believe this, I wasn't really a big fan, I think it was the name but he is fun to watch. I don't see too many people besides BJ beating that is for sure. On a side note, if that fight was stopped due to the cut I would have been pissed. I still don't like elbows allowed, but that is just because elbows don't KO they usually only cut and I hate fights stopped due to cuts. But thats beside the point, good win Kenny.
Poor Jon Fitch. He puts up a valiant effort against GSP and gets buried in the division. Hope he makes the most of his TV time tonight.
