 Can't believe Mir came in just under the limit. Not seen any pics or clips from the weigh in, so I have no idea what kind of shape he is in. Mir is not the big fat ass I was expecting with that weight. http://www.sherdog.com/pictures/gallery/event/21481/102765 This content is protected
I saw Kongo give his back to Mir during the weigh in. I hope Kongo does that tomorrow night so Mir can choke the **** out of him:yep
Note: you don't put on 20lbs. of muscle doing all that cardio and conditioning training in 6 months without performance enhancers
Ya that was weird as hell. Don't quite understand that. Never turn your back to an enemy, kinda stupid in that sense.
You do know Mir isn't a small HW and was really small in his last fight right? He came in really low and at a weight he didn't belong. For the first Lesnar fight he weighed in at 255. For the rematch he weighed in at 245. Not his proper weight. Bernard Hopkins was beefed up when he fought Tarver and his body looked completely different from how he looked at MW. And before he fought Tarver, he had fought the Taylor rematch some few months before, and put on 15 lbs of muscle during the time in between.
Trust me, I understand the science of building muscle. The problem is, with an intense conditioning program, most of those calories are spent for energy, not muscle growth. If it was that easy to put on muscle that fast, everyone would be doing it, but eating a lot is just one of the elements. Mir's face looks puffy, like he's holding water, which most juicers possess. I don't remember Mir's face looking like that before a fight.
