Yeah, he wasn't quite out when Cain hopped his guard, in fact he was clearly in the act of bringing his arms up to defend himself and bringing his legs into defensive guard position before the hammer fists started falling...he was just....too.........slow......
****in Rogan, he had to remind me of that stupid statement by that Aussie commentator from that Green-Jones fight when I heard "beat a legend, you become a legend"
Cain looked outstanding with insanely improved stand up. I think Cain should get the loser of Mir/Carwin to sort of move him up the ladder for a title shot. Absolutely dominating.
Well maybe if Mexican HW boxing had somebody better than Crisco-Ball to offer up...oh wait, they do, but Quezada won't be champ either.
I don't know if Cain has world beating power; but that was never really part of what you call his "hype." I don't think it's hype anymore, it is a legit package of clinical takedowns, lots of cardio, and as shown tonight solid standup technique.
Nagy Aguilera? He's....alright. If they'd like though, as a 1/2 Puerto Rican, I'd have no problem negotiating a trade for John Ruiz if they're willing.
I just don't like seeing guys over 30% bf win fights. When I think of a Champ, I think of a guy who does it 100%. EATS, Sleeps, Dreams, Trains Champion.. Cain has everything but the Eating part.
I'm sorry but I think I could have looked dominate over Nog tonight. Nog looked like a statue, about as slow as I have ever seen a fighter, EVER.
I could care less what a man looks like, sounds like you just want to see man muscle flexing around the ring. haha, sorry pal.
It's not like you didn't know that Nog has slowed down significantly before tonight. Before: Cain has no power and is all hype Brutal first round KO After: Nog doesn't count.
Cain is an accomplished amateur hamburger eating contest winner....so he's clearly a dual champion and trains accordingly
Cain is in good shape :huh What exactly are you expecting to see, a chiseled 6 pack and 4% body fat. The kid trains like a man possessed and is acknowledged as being on the best conditioned fighters in the sport.
