This thread looks alright to me. I was slack, and didn't participate in the first few event prediction threads of this year. I don't see why the people that showed up have to be overlooked. It's not like most of the gang are missing. I think these predictions should count.
Just doing this in case a few last minute predictions come in. These fights have occurred: Riddle defeats Soto by DQ, due to illegal upkick in round 3 Hamman wins by ud Palhares heel hook rnd 1
Sorry dude, you're right. I was just hoping some of the missing people would show up before the main card, but you can't make a prediction after the fight has occurred.
Hardy and Carwin are unknown quantities in comparison to their opponents. That makes the call difficult. On paper and technically GSP should win but one punch and some self belief and its a different story. Mir seems to have the better technical boxing but Carwin puts your lights out so good boxing can be history if you make one mistake. Grappling in that fight intrigues me. Mir looks to have blended being big but in shape better than ever for this fight.
Id take GSP by dec. Mir via stoppage. I dont feel like going outside to a bar, can anyone help me out?
