Well, we've been lectured relentlessly by GSP critics in the last couple of weeks that the ground game is boring and stand up is the only way to go.
Maybe BJ was listening to them.

 

Yeah, this better be a ****ing good performance by Silva to make up for the rest.

 

That was the same BJ that destroyed Florian and Sanchez. Penn just couldn't handle the pace Edgar set and he's never had great conditioning. Great fight from a technical standpoint. Edgar was just hungrier.

 

Oh great, Dan "me not know the rules that well" Miragliotta is the ref for this next one.

I'm liking Silva's performance so far.

 

Silva needs to be careful there. He's almost kicked Maia in the head on the ground a couple of times now.

 

This is more of a comedy than a fight.

I'm not sure GSP has any better hope than Maia has.

 

Anderson is being a dick.

If he's so ****ing confident why doesn't he get on the floor with Mia?

Everyone knows that Damien has zero stand up.

 

Silva does my head in, the show boating is pathetic. Let's face, nothing of note has happened in this fight so far!

 

So much for me thinking Maia would be aggressive. Then again Silva hasn't done too much more.

 

Um I think they just claimed Anderson Silva was like Ali times 10. :huh

This isn't easy to watch.

Anderson should just finish it; there's really no need to completely humiliate the opponent like this.
