Lets talk about the whole event guys , will throw a few subjects out there to get us started !!!!

Firstly Condit is a beast , love the guys style , technically sound in every single department , man is an animal , love this kid !!!!

Kampman with a solid solid win , looked very very solid , would like to hear people write off Paul Daleys win (again) after how Kampman handled Thiago :deal

Pile's triangle deserved submission of the night not Cro Cops awful RNC !!!! , a win is a win i suppose !!!! Barry really needs to get a Gi on man !!!!

Long live Chuck Liddell , he was in shape , punch resistance gone , its all over , gutted Franklin may of broken his arm , another 12 months before we see him again ........................

Oh nearly forgot , Griffin Dunham , razor close fight , great win for Dunham , really felt for Griffin with the scoring system being what it is .

    Thoughts ????

Agreed Condit is a beast. I think his best 2 qualities are his aggression and his stamina. This guy just keeps fighting at a fast past constantly. What of the more underatted fighters in MMA IMO. Agian I agree Cro Cop didnt deserve a Sub of the night it was a poor RNC on a tired fighter with no ground skills. FOTN yes but Sub no way, Pyle's triangle was slick and he deserved that bonus. Id say Barry should take some time before his next fight maybe 4-5 months off and seriously dedicate himself to Jiujitsu and agian I agree with a GI. The man needs to tighten his game some. Once he does this is a serious player at Heavyweight. Once agian I agree love live Chuck and his lack of punch resistance at this point is what has did him in. Ill choose to remember the Chuck who could take a good punch then put you to sleep. Lol agian I agree sad Rich broke his arm probably disapointing. The guy took 9 months of because he kinda needed a rest to let his body heel physically and mentally now he might be out for the rest of 2010. Ill say this though let Rich continue with this Champions tour his last 4 fights have been Chuck, Wandy, Vitor and Hendo all World Champions. I say maybe give him Couture, Forrest or Tito next and continue this run of Champions hes fighting. Griffin-Dunham was very entertaining I agree very close fight I feel like Tyson did more damage but sadly Dunham's superior postion and control won him the fight. I think Tyson needs to slow down alittle and stop being wild in his ground exchanges this leads him to being took down more and mounted and things like that more then he should which is the difference between him winning and losing in this fight IMO.

I don't really follow UFC anymore, but always liked Ace Franklin. Good for him bagging another big name.

Did he look good enough that a rematch with Hendo or Machida (or even a third try with Spider) might seem feasible?

Machida or Silva ? **** no because he hasnt improved in the needed areas. Those guys are just such great and skilled fighters I dont think Franklin could ever beat them. Rich arguably did beat Hendo and who knows maybe earns a stoppage if the eye poke doesnt happen late in that fight. Id love to see a rematch but with Hendo in Strikeforce it seems impossible. Like I say above keep the Champions tour going give him Couture, Griffin or Tito next.

    Franklin KO Couture
    Franklin KO Griffin

    Franklin UD Ortiz

Franklin is not a KO machine, but COuture and Griffin both have glass chin now...

I think Franklin can KO all of those guys, Couture, Forrest and Tito.

I also want to say that I agree with the SOTN, CroCop isn't a submission guy and he snapped it innicely. Sure it wasn't technically sound but thats why he should get it, plus he damn near threatened Dana for it haha then he said "tax free of course" hahaha I loved it.

Great post , very accurate all round , i agree with everything you have said :good

Id love to see Condit Hardy top the bill in Oct (i think) in the next UK based show , he's an animal , the nickname fits the bill perfectly , he impressed me most out of the whole card , his technically sound skill set coupled with that wild fighters spirit just gets me all excited the kid is a monster .

Your comments on Pat Barry are spot on too couldnt agree more :good

I remember a lot of people writing this event off. I knew it was going to be one of those sleeper cards. Crocop and Lidell are quite washed up but they are still legends and fought bravely. That's what made this event for me.
