I agree. That is my point about finding the best fighters. Why have booze all over the house? Why? So they will act dumb, say dumb ****, get into fights, all for good tv ratings. If they were serious about finding talent they would lock the place down and run it like boot camp. Challenge these ****ers mentally, find the breaking point.:good

i've watched every UFC since 100 and i Haven't and never will give them a dime.

the cards alright though i'm excited about carwin-lesnar.

 

I don't think it's a fair fight for the reason he's coming off that serious illness and layoff. The stars are definitely not aligning for him. If he wins, it's says a ton i think but if he loses, there's a layoff excuse which is valid.

 

I'm looking forward to it, me and a friend have a £20 bet on the outcome of Pellegrino vs Sort(I'm not going to attempt the rest). Well matched undercard IMO but nothing stand out and Carwin Vs Lesnar has to be a good fight :think

UFC 116 embodies everything I love about the sport. If you don't like it,
I'm sorry you are not a fan of MMA. People need to focus on the fighters not the
Damn promoters or Orgs. That makes no ****n sense. MMA is not tabloid sensationalism.

 

In the real world the fighter will have booze, can skive off training etc In fact when these guys are drinking beer it shows they haven't got the SELF DETERMINATION to go as far as they can.

And for the record, its not about hindsight, its about not making a **** of yourself complaining about something that hasn't happened yet, wasn't even bad on paper, and had the ability to be spectacular, which it was.

Romero vs Petruzelli was on the preliminary show, but Romero took a lot of punishment before winning.

Bonnar and Sosynski dazed each other all fight long.

Brown was handling Lytle in the clinch, and nearly locked a submission on Lytle before succumbing to Lytle's ground game in round 2.

Leben and Akiyama was about as good as it gets. I would have scored the fight for Leben had it gone all 3, but from what I've been reading it doesn't look like the judges would have agreed. Leben's last second submission of Akiyama would normally have been the most dramatic moment on a card.

What about the main event? The champion went from being stunned to ducking and running for cover to being hammered on in a fetal position to back on his feet before the end of round 1 and eventually submitting his challenger in round 2.
