I agree MM lost but I thought it was narrower than the first because he actually got some offense off. Don't get me wrong - the result sucks and worse its a blow to the bantamweight division.
Ive seen worse decisions and Im a big MM fan and I dont think the loss will hurt Torres in terms of his standing at BW, good performance from both Miguel has really matured, hope he keeps improving, even if i do slightly miss the balls to the wall style
Stann is still very green on the ground, if he'd got half guard he'd have a much better time with the g'n'p. Matter of time though
This is why we mock people who try to pretend Dream/Sengoku are on the same level as Zuffa. Just an ass wooping for Stann over the Sengoku champion. Fun fight. How many fights does everyone think Stann is away from a challenge to Anderson Silva. Classy promo from Stann. Inspirational guy.
Being American, probably one win. If you had to tailor make a fighter for Anderson to embarrass, Stann is the man
Bisping and Stann is the 1st that came to mind, but he's got Mayhem I hope Story is hungry, he's about to feast on leg kicks and straight lefts. From Hendricks to Alves is probably one of the biggest step up in class I can remember
Well I'm thinking more the issue of depth in the middleweight division. If Silva is up for defending his belt December/January time then its really either Stann or Wanderlei. Sonnen won't have got over his licensing issues, Bisping and Mayhem are tied up in TUF and everyone else is coming off losses.
I'd rather Anderson than Leben. At least Wanderlei gets a super payday for the former. Can you imagine how desperate the fans will be to see Wanderlei win against Anderson? That is of course if they're willing to fight.
