UFC 135 gets Takanori Gomi vs. Nate Diaz!

yea hope nate wins gomi has some ****ing hard hits though but if nate takes him down or is taken down i believe gomi will get subbed but on the feet it should be ****ing interesting.

 

Gomi gets him. Nate is a subpar striker and B+ grappler at best.

 

1) Gomi takes this and Diaz packs his bags and goes to Strikeforce at Dana's request.

2) Scott Coker then tries to assure fans that Nate is as good as Nick who has gone AWOL.

3) Nate gets a title shot at Welterweight against the Daley Vs Cyborg winner and actually dies in the cage.

I get so ****in tired of people saying how good Nate is. Ok he looks like championship material........against NOBODIES!! Every time he steps up in class he gets spanked like a little girl. ****, should've gave him to Melvin Guillard again to see where the Young Assassins progression is.

 

I see this happening in Nate Diaz's immediate future...

Love this fight both guys always put on exicting fights and it could look a bit like the classic Nick vs Gomi matchup from Pride. That and its do or die for these guys if Gomi loses his UFC run has been a complete failure at 1-3 and if Diaz loses its 3 in a row and he will have run out of weight classes to use an excuse. Diaz should win though he has a granite chin and all Gomi has is power punches. Diaz will wear him down and choke him as so many have done before.

 

gomi is not what he used to be, I cant get excieted for his fights anymore. stoppage losses to Florian and Guida... I want to cry.

 

It's the battle to not get cut afterwards, looser is going to get kick out of the UFC !!!

 

Glad to see Diaz back @55 , he was never a WW , this is a good solid fight @55 , and should provide good action , ive got Diaz taking a close decision

No way Diaz gets cut no matter what. Too willing to fight anyone and to try to finish fights. Gomi might though.

Against Florian Gomi looked like he'd never seen a decent jab and Diaz will pick him apart like he did Marcus Davis. I can't stand the whole "Diaz" thing that he and his brother do with their trash talk ****, but if I'm going to be honest at all I have to say that their brand of sort of sloppy looking boxing has great snap and excellent effect in MMA. There have been a dozen fights where I thought "this guy will get inside Nick/Nate's defense and crush him to the body and/or time those punches and nail them on the chin" but it just doesn't happen. When they lose they get wrestle****ed and no way Gomi does that. I'd love to see Gomi win like he did against Griffin, but it's just not going to happen.

 

Gomi gets knocked the **** out. I bet.
