Start of the third, with two rounds in the bag, Nelson hits Cro-cop with a straight right which backs him up against the cage. Big Country moves in and catches Cro-Cop again, this time behind the ear with a left, and he hits the mat face down. Nelson quickly takes his back and drops bombs on him until the ref steps in for the stoppage.
I've really taken a liking to Mittrione over his past few fights. Joe just summed him up well. Extremely athletic and crazy. I see him rising to the occasion tonight. Kongo's reluctance will be his undoing.
Thanks guys. What's up with Cro Cop always getting knocked out in the 3rd round, if he continues fighting (god forbid) I'm going to have to start putting down some bets.
Can't believe Jorgenson got the nod over Curran. Curran's jiujitsu was impeccable. He was never in danger on the ground and won most of the standing exchanges.
Yeah, Meathead is building a decent little following on this forum. I'm not quite on the bandwagon yet, but I'm thinking of buying a ticket. :think
Agression on the ground took it I think, but I agree Currans jits was good. Thought Scott edged the stand up slightly though
Mirko's Chin is ****ing abysmal and I couldn't have called that any more accurately. That being said, I can't even really brag about that because everyone knows he just backpedals around and shoves until he gets KOed.
