UFC 140: Jones vs. Machida Predictions

Good stuff.. I'm picking Big Nog and Patrick too.

As for the main event? I think Saturday is bad timing for Jones to be in a fight with Machida.. Doubt he will be able to dominate Machida after a busy schedule. Lyoto Machida is a different fighter after back to back losses, not to mention burning for another title shot.

Machida TKO2 or it's a close fight that goes to the cards.

I'm pulling for machida but i think jones would win. I really want to see jones smash rashad evans into pieces

 

Bones wins by TKO in round 2 after a round and a half of brutal ground and pound. Cannot see Machida coping with Jones' almost unstoppable TD's and savagely unorthodox ground game.

 

I want Machida, but I think Jones will win.

 

^^Yep, I know a Machida victory doesn't add up, just a gut feeling of mine.

Jones. I'm cheering for Jones in the fight too, fascinating kid.

Frank Mir to knock out Big Nog or win a dull fight, not sure about Tito/Little Nog but I lean towards Little Nog at this point. Ebertroll to beat Claude Patrick although there could be an upset there, and Hominick to win by KO.

The prelims look awful.

 

not a difficult choice imo. I am hoping Im wrong however and Machida surprises everyone, however its unlikely.

 

Jones, but Machida has a 40% shot in my book.

 

Bones destroys Machida's Glass Jaw via GnP in the second or third, Mir vaporizes Nogueira's China Chin with the same telegraphed combinations AGAIN, and Rogerio destroys Tito and shows him exactly how washed up he really is.

 

Jones is going to slaughter Machida. Until someone figures out how to put this kid on his back, he ain't losing.
