Caceres really needs to tighten up his ground he keeps going for the same thing over and over again and he's never come close to getting it. He had a beautiful opportunity for a triangle/armbar combo at the end of the second and he gave it away.

even with the 2 point deduction, I don't think Figueroa won a round.

So really it should be 28-27 for Cacares. He needs to diversify. Kept going for the same sub that wasn't working and missed his triangle opportunities.

Oki so round 1 Figueroa got kicked in the nuts and after that Caceres got rocked by a kicked but manage to keep is head up and got the back of Figueroa for half of the round

Round 2 Figueroa got kick in the nuts (Herb gave 2 point penalty to caceres) again and the effect can be seen at this time. Caceres got Figeroa back for a while and found is rythm and reach a little in the stand up

Round 3 was more or less the same thing as round 2 without the kick in the nuts

    Figueroa SD

    :happy

And in one post, there is 10x more information than the 58 posts that preceded it. :good

Side note: I have always cheered for Riddle since I saw him on TUF, just because of his attitude. (And his name.) He seemed to always have a genuine smile on his face, was always happy to be there, and when he got drunk he was a peacemaker. You can tell a lot about a person's nature when they're drunk, and Riddle seemed like a real friendly, good-natured sort of guy.

28-27 Cacares was the right decision.
