    That was Sean McCorkle I think.

    From memory he was the one that said even the lower tier guys make 2-3 times what is reported to the commission.

    All of these fighters are free to start their own promotions and pay themselves whatever they want. lets see how much they make that way.

    Yeah, it was McCorkle.

    From memory, he ranked his earnings from fight purses over his career as follows.

    1) Stefan Struve fight. (UFC)

    2) UFC fight before Struve.

    3) All 12 non-UFC fights added together.

    4) His first fight in the UFC.

    And McCorkle is a nobody. He's a journeyman opponent who pretty much just wasn't good enough to cut it in the UFC. He's nowhere near the PPV-cut level that Jones and Rashad are, but he was earning shitloads more than his base pay reported.
