I have to go with Sonnen, to many people are judging him by his Bisping fight. i don't think he will dominate as easily as he did up until he got subbed but I don't think Silva can stop his TD's either. Of course as we get closer this is avatar bet material.
Sonnen via Sub 1st Round after he hits Sliva with a Dragon uppercut the only way Sonnen loses this fight is if his Mexican look a like Carlos Sonnendo turns up instead.
Disputed decisions get me down, but riots make me happy. Will there be a riot? Now that's another discussion.
They are hyping it up as an epic rematch as massive proportions. Silva crushing him in a round is a letdown.
If you consider a letdown to be an event where 60,000 screaming Brazilians go ****ing ape**** as they watch their hero, the p4p #1, deliver the greatest victory of his career, then sure, that would be a letdown. :conf :hat
Credit to Sonnen for stepping into a real danger zone (although his pockets are lined handsomly and its for the belt) but he's going to need a miracle to keep Anderson down for 5 rounds this time. The atmosphere is going to be electric, I'll be surprised if they can actually get him to the ring. That amount of people could easily flank the security and **** him up.
If Sonnen wins this fight in similar style as he did the first 4 rounds of the rematch, he needs to get a SHITLOAD of credit. To talk all that **** and then walk into Anderson Silva's backyard and take his belt in front of 60,000+ of his countrymen would rate as one of the two or three greatest victories in MMA history. :hat
