    No didn't see it but the commentator'skeep mentioning it. It seems he needs to learn the basics of how to check low kicks.

    But it's a solid performance, I felt he dominated quite easily without the need to go up the gears.

    True, as a spectacle wasn't great action. Barao did enough and fought at one pace without really pushing it, and Faber for all his movement, was always pretty much out of range.

    This might seem like a simplw question but wht didn't the wrestler try harder to take the better striker down? :huh

    Is that what he was trying to do but couldn't? Seems nuts to stand infront of a competant striker and try to trade!?

    Paper, rock etc.

    He did try to take Barao down a couple times which were easily stuffed, he initiated his TD attempts from too far out. He just couldn't close the distance quick enough to get in to shooting range.

    Barao is a beast on the ground as well, possibly more than he is on the feet. Fabers legs also aren't really what they used to be (as much as they bang on about him being in his physical prime, you don't take a beating like Aldo gave him and get back to 100%)

    Good fight at the end of a seriously weak card.

    Barao did really well against a seriously tough opponent, and it wouldn't surprise me to learn that a decision victory was the game plan for the fight. Faber is pretty hard to finish, and Barao has never been 5 rounds before. He's about to fight a guy who has been 5 rounds multiple times, so I'm guessing they wanted him to get the experience in the later rounds.

    Cruz has excellent takedowns, but Barao has shown fantastic takedown defence, so that may be a non issue. Cruz has great speed, but Barao may match him in that as well. He looked much faster than Faber, who is incredibly fast himself. Cruz is very hittable. Faber dropped him multiple times, and I think it is very possible for Barao to connect, and with his killer instinct, he could certainly capitalize.

    Barao is incredibly skilled, and pretty much matches or bests Cruz in almost every area. He actually has reach on Cruz, as well.

    I don´t know, I think Cruz will use his mobility and his punches are even more fast imo.....well, I´m not sure tbh :think should be a great fight;
