That was a fight won on guts,determination and heart

The first round is probably the only round worth evaluating for proper technical application, in which Velasquez bullied, he won the stand up decisively and shot for numerous TD's which sub-sequently tired Dos Santos so much that he was effectively done after the 1st round!

Ill say this for Dos Santos, for a non-wrestler his TDD and Roman Greco is truly spectacular, i believe he completely underestimated Velasquez on the feet, and paid the price for that!, he will look to overwhelm him early next time

Velasquez is a worthy winner

Great performance by Velasquez! The only thing he could have done better is batter JDS' with leg kicks. Cain landed around 5 good leg kicks in that fight, but there should have been at least 10x that many. Dos Santos' legs are what kept him going late in the fight.

Plus i believe we have more evidence that Velasquez is actually fairly heavy handed
