Come on mate. Dos Santos looked like **** tonight and looked the challenger in there. I can't remember a one sided fight where the champion was heavily favored. There is nothing wrong with losing but to get completely dominated for five rounds like that was mind blowing.

If this is the cream of the crop for UFC HW's at the moment then it's a dire division.

 

JDS has such ****ing heart. And Cain was an unrelentless beast.

But let's be truly honest, who ISN'T marking for Overeem in the next match? Because I'm cheering for Overeem big time.

I reckon it was. He skipped out of about 5 takedown attempts before that, and looked like he was just judging his timing with his punches.

Then Cain landed that right hand, legitimately knocked him down clean, and after that Junior looked like he was fighting while drunk off his ass. His eyes appeared glazed and unfocused, and it looked like his body just wasn't responding to his commands. :conf

I thought he looked like his mind had come back in the fourth and fifth, he was moving better, but by that stage he'd been fighting for so long and taken so much of a beating that it didn't matter. :good

So yeah, I reckon that just like the first fight, one punch early in the first was the difference.
