Cain impressed but JDS fought like **** after eating that right hand. Backed right up against the cage, dropped his hands and ate consecutive punches for no damn reason, kept throwing recklessly and getting caught.
A 100% Velasquez beats JDS 10/10 x's. I give credit to Dos Santos for his heart & durability but Cain put a beating on him unlike no other.
Reem beats both. There's a poll Reem vs JDS. Funny results before this fight. Wonder of opinions have changed.
Do Santos proved he has a chin made of tungsten steel tonight. Great heart. Cain was brutal, never thought in a 1000 years he would come back after the KO with that proformance.
to be fair, i thought it would go the same as before, but Cain beat the **** out of Dos Santos. Cain was very impressive, but i did think that Cain was a bit agricultural for the best part of it. dont get me wrong, he was uber impressive, but he was certainly not unbeatable last night. For the most of it he just walked forward and left himself very open. im not saying Overeem would muller him, but i dont think Alistair would be scared shitless of a bout with Cain after that. still, he did what he had to do to win, and for all my over analysing, he regained his belt, so bravo
JDS took a lot of damage tonight. Might not be the same fighter he once was. On the other hand, this is the first tough fight he's ever had, maybe this will make him a more intelligent fighter - knowing how it is being on the receiving end of a beat down. Only time will tell
I don't know much about MMA, just the basic stuff...I don't watch much of it. Can't remember the last time I saw a UFC fight, maybe years until tonight. I thought this fight was entertaining, with some dull parts. Kind of like boxing.. Some rounds are more exciting than others. Dos Santos was toast after round 1. I was surprised he survived it. I felt Cain should have choked him on a few occasions, I felt he was more concerned about trying to KO Dos Santos to avenge his loss, and eventually punched himself out. Dos Santos never cleared his head completely IMO. I do think Cain needs to work a bit on his stamina.
i feel a little sad for jds, he was really badly beaten up. i hope he can recover mentally, i doubt if he's taken such a beating before. actually leading up to the fight i was hoping he wasn't too over confident. i had the impression he thought he was unbeatable. mind you, i suppose most fighters believe that.
and a number of fans booed him when Rogan went over for post fight interview. the **** do these scum even follow the sport for :-verysad
