I'll just say thus far this Tumenov has been embarrassing these guys, Larken is his biggest test thus far... He was laid on a year or two ago, but that was a learning experience more than anything else, not really a demoralizing loss.

 

I agree. I'm going with Brandao here.

 

Brandao is a bit of a glass cannon, with a tendency to fade early. But he should take this.

 

a few years ago having a black belt in BJJ was rare, or at least it was in my memory. Everyone seems to have one now.

It's true. I definitely think trainers hand them out a lot more liberally these days. Back in the day there were a handful of very good BJJ coaches, now their students have students who have students... and so on. A lot have been criticized for handing out black belts like candy.
