So *****y. Apparently he wants it at 170 so there are no excuses. Same with Edgar. These guys genuinely love to fight, no politics. With that mindset they deserve the pay days. We wish all fighters would be genuine fighters/warriors but the reality is they all get sucked into the BS.
Edgar is in some way the true P4P GOAT of MMA. He could have made 135 yet became champ at 155, fought only elite competition for ages, lost only to elite level fighters (highly controversial loss to Bendo) and was never finished. Well rounded fighter with good wrestling and MMA boxing, cardio and chin. If all fighters were weighing say 200 pounds a 200 pound Edgar would be the most scary. It looks like UFC desparately wants to take him out of the picture and protect McGregor, first they gave him Mendes to perform a hit job on Frankie yet Frankie finished him easily. Now they gave him Aldo. If Edgar beats Aldo and then McGregor that will be a legitimate GOAT run for the title.
