UFC 205 is almost around, what are your preparations ?

Like an idiot I forgot to request to work during the day and I got scheduled the night shift. I'm going to miss most of this event. I may go out to a friend's place after work to see it, but it's unlikely that I'll get to see anything other than the last 2 fights if I even see that much.

 

Recording it so hopefully remember not to wake up Sunday morning and automatically go on the net

 

Watching is Sunday morning when i wake up in the UK, Fook staying up late to watch, always feel tired can't appreciate watching it that late. Just have to make sure i don't look at ANYTHING on the internet before i watch as the results are bound to pop up somewhere.

 

For the main event... Either McGregor catches Alvarez cold and stops him in 1. Or gets worked to a decision or stopped late.

Romero was outstruck other than that insane flying knee. Lets be honest, Romero wouldn't be able to hang with any of these guys if he was natty. Belfort all over again.

 

Joanna reminds me of a female version of Aldo in terms of style. Karolina got outclassed in the first round.

 

Romero landed more strikes and also had an edge in sig strikes. CW lives and dies off the success of his tds. Romero completely shut him out and toyed with him there.

Romero and Belfort's situations aren't the same. Belfort was on tre, the banned substance Romero pissed hot for was from an over-the-counter supplement. You can bet Romero is getting tested round the clock now.

 

Wrong. Rd 1 was all Weidman. Romero narrowly won rd 2 based on controlling the last 2 minutes or so with wrestling. He KO'd Weidman like 30 secs into rd 3. There's no way a 40 year old can LOOK and fight like at that. Romero is a complete piece of garbage and anyone who thinks this guy was clean tonight isn't sane.
