2 and 5 were also close. Not sure what fight you were watching.

Yeah but his striking is incredibly sloppy and he's very easy to hit. The bread n butter overhand right will be there for Woodley all night.

Just stop all that nonsense, it's complete bull****. It were a pretty clear win for Covington, can't argue it. How the ****ing hell can Dos Anjos win a round, were he is on the defense for all 5 minute, without doing anything offensively? No ****ing way in hell he won either of rounds 2, 3 or 5. All three clear rounds for Covington by a mile.

Hopefully Bobby knocks the weight scale cheater out of contention.

That engine, plus favourable judges (if tonight is anything to go by) could see Covington take an SD or close UD.

I really do think a possible Covington vs Till encounter would be the worst-case scenario for me: I don't particularly like either guy and would find it extremely difficult to root for either of them.

Covington is just like Josh Koscheck but with a little more chin and less power. Same obnoxious personality.

No, they weren't. You can look at all the play-by-play updates. All were having Covington winning rounds 2, 3 and 5. Some even had Covington winning round 1 aswell.

It's pure stupidity when hatred for a person completely shuts down any form of objectivity.

I don't like Covington, he is a moron - but he won this fight convincingly.

Maybe put the glass pipe down and watch the fight again with at least a few functioning brain cells.

Probably the same one Joseph Rogaine was commentating on (i.e not giving RDA credit for landing solid shots).

I had it close for Dos Anjos. I'm not arguing the verdict, but most of the rounds were far from definitive. Also who says a round can't be close even if most score it one way? Anyways. Get off your high horse and watch the fights like everyone else.

How can a round be close, when one guy dominates for all five minutes?

They should've let Whittaker be able to defend his belt tonight with the title going vacant if Romero won.

Romero looked terrible at the ceremonial weigh ins.

Was there any re-weigh in limit set by UFC on this fight that both Whittaker and Romero had to make (like there was for Thompson vs Till)?
