No official announcement but Cyborgs twitter makes mention of fighting Nunes on July 7th at UFCs annual fight week. It's usually 1 of the big fight weekends for the UFC with at least 1 other fight card like the Ultimate Fighter final on the same weekend. I would expect there will be at least 1 other title fight also for UFC 226 and Cyborg vs Nunes would be an excellent main support bout.
Lost all confidence in Nunes after that stunt she pulled last July bowing out after getting cleared. She didn’t look great in the fight two months later. Cyborg by TKO.
Anybody else catch the **** coming from Cyborgs twitter account in regards to Megan Anderson and her personal situation, which apparently has been keeping her out of the cage. It may be her boyfriend running the account but Cyborg responded via video it was her, providing just another reason she is disliked by so many. I have been told that while its not just an injury keeping Anderson out but there is no reason to make such serious accusations about somebodys personal situation without any proof. Probabably the biggest dog act I have seen for a while from a fighter trying to hype a potential future fight,she tried involving the immigration department accusing Anderson of a marriage of convinience to try and get citizenship. Im hoping Anderson after at least 1 more fight gets to destroy her if Nunes isnt able to do it herself. You can only beat who is put in front of you, which she has done fairly easily but Cyborg has feasted on smaller and or mediocre opposition for the majority of her career and Anderson at least size wise should present more of a challenge then she has gotten so far.Apart from Anderson Cyborg has no competition at Featherweight, her last 2 wins against good but clearly smaller fighters have given her enough of a problem for me to believe Nunes has a very good chance to neutralize and potentially beat Cyborg

I think there is a good chance for at least 2 of these 3 happening. Cyborg vs Nunes Miocic vs Cormier TJ. Dillashaw vs Mighty Mouse
Megan has posted previously on her FB account that she suffers depression and anxiety, she turned to MMA to save her self as previously she was also an alcoholic and tried to take her own life a couple of times.. I'm only speculating but the drugs needed to help if she did start to suffer a bout of anxiety would probably be banned for fighting hence why she is sitting it out at the moment until it's cleared from her system.
