wtf is Ngannou doing?

 

Ngannou giving Lewis entirely too much respect. Fighting scared. Flinching at any little movement, and not letting his hands go.

 

These guys are pulling a Kevin Johnson

 

That's like Demian Maia-level bad in terms of strikes thrown. Maybe worse.

Why is Ngannou being so reticent when in all likelihood he could've bodied Lewis by now?

Right. If Kevin Johnson cloned himself and then fought his clone, the resulting fight would be as boring and listless as this.

Makes me want to watch a rerun of Parker vs Hughie instead.

They didn't even make it a five round fight, so there is no reason to coast.

 

What a letdown

 

He's have Stipe PTSD flashbacks every time Lewis attempts a strike.

 

Mind boggling stuff from Ngannou. He's scared to get close enough to land punches. Lewis is gassed, and he hasn't hardly done **** either.

 

Unless he wakes up and ends matters in the final round, Ngannou is in real danger of sleepwalking to a decision loss here.
