I agree with you, and with conventional wisdom: given his extended break from fighting (excluding the Mayweather farce), and his gas tank which was already suspect before his time out, Conor's only real shot is to land a huge counter left in the first one-and-a half rounds, or even to get on his bike while fatigued, and try and bring Khabib onto him and land a big left that way. Otherwise -- like many people-- I can see Khabib pressuring Conor and taking him down, smothering Conor with his weight, battering Conor in the Ground & Pound and getting the mid-to-late stoppage.
