Man has Cormier let himself go. If this is his shape when he is training I see him blowing up huge when he retires.

Regardless of the shape, the man can fight.

 

Surprised that Lewis weighs 15lb more, even with Cormier being four inches shorter.

This fight should go to the ground quick. Unless Lewis lands the bombs early.

 

Cormier is out of shape... more so than usual tonight.

 

Lewis did his absolute best to avoid getting taken down (with the anticipatory counter left head-kick and then leveraging himself against the cage), but all Cormier had to do was get that right hand behind his thigh and it was as simple as flicking a light switch. I'm guessing Lewis didn't have a world class wrestling background?

 

The heavyweight division is in bad shape in more ways than one. I can't imagine in any time in history of the UFC where Derick Lewis could be ranked #2 in the heavyweight division.

 

Crowd antsy, they wanted to see a lot more standing in the opener.

 

Out of shape Cormier is picking and choosing when he burst the punch output.
