Lewis doing some damage in the first couple of minutes of the second. Cormier gets him down, but not for long. Smart thinking by Lewis, scrambling up to his feet even while Cormier grinds him against the octagon wall continuing to apply that headlock. ...and Lewis taps moments later as Cormier rolls onto his back and gets both fists cranking on the neck.
One of the least exciting main events I've ever seen. I don't know if Cromier gained anything from this fight. He was slow, out of shape against an unskilled, slow and out of shape fighter.
Cormier vs. Lesnar is going to be comically bad, and every sucker ass Kool-Aid-swilling UFC mark shill that buys that PPV will deserve every shred of predictable disappointment at feeling they got fleeced.
Pure speculation. Nobody outside of a Jones shin has ever stopped Cormier. Cormier was eating Stipe's best shots like hot Krispy Kreme donuts. While Stipe's chin was imploded by the portly one's short crispy right hand.
Some of us actually have eyes. You're laughing now while we're being treated to farces like this and more than likely Lesnar next.
This fight was bull**** I agree. Stipe's cage IQ had quite a bit to do with him getting knocked out by Cormier though. Yeah Cormier eye poked him, that **** was dirty as ****. But nobody told Stipe to get in close, and pull straight back like that, and I don't think anybody realized that his chin was made of plastic.
Temple shot doesn't have to be hard to scramble your circuitry , brain no send signal to legs , fight over instantly . Weidman should retire , good fighter , had some good wins . Get out while you can still feed yourself .
