Wasn't anything illegal about a toe to the eye there but I agree the there is an issue in MMA with eye pokes,the fact they still don't have appropriate gloves that could help prevent it

 

Another fight with these issues...seems every card is like this.

Missed the whole event so but I'll probably catch the co-main and main at a bar. Got a feeling it'll be a letdown considering gus injuries/inactivity and UFC letting Jones juice.

There are no gloves to prevent eye pokes without hindering grapplers.

The eye poke is way worst then the nut kick since they all wear cups. The eye poke is, for the most part, preventable. Most of the eye poke happens cause fighters extend their hand with fingers stretch out. What they need to do is take points away. None of this next time infraction BS. Take a point if an eye poke happens. I guarantee you this will stop 99% of the eye poke.
