i think jones needs to dominate last rd, or ko to win.
I've got it even but Jones could be down 3-1 here,he's so frustrating to watch a little like Anderson Silva was sometimes with his lack of output
In Nevada Thiago would have to dominate all 5 rounds to get a draw.
jones just got beat by a guy with jello legs.
Round 1 Santos 10-9
Round 2 Santos 10-9
Round 3 Jones 10-9
Round 4 Santos 10-9
Round 5 Santos 10-9
Boy kick from Santos, shots up top stuns Jones, leg kicks from both, another leg kick from Santos, a few straight lefts and kicks from Santos, body kick from Jones, Jones kicking him to the legs, Santos' leg is about to give out, counter left hook from Santos, flurry from Santos connects, cleaner harder shots from Santos nick him the round.
48-47 is fine as well.
Pre USADA Jones moves in for the kill with take downs etc. He is hesitant AF with out all the picos
My question is why the **** didn't Jones counter Santos after Santos throws leg kicks. Dude takes a good 1-2 seconds to get his balance back. Should have gone for his own hard leg kick after. I swear UFC fights are awful at countering.
Close fight either way,I don't know how much it comes into there scores but Jones may have only have won based on "octagon control"
SD to Jones.
Ughhhhh Buffer tore at my heart strings for a second.
jones is trash, barely threw anything and got out worked by a guy with a torn acl
Jones with the constant pressure. Santos threw wild at times, but didn't land.
Awful performance by Jones though - wouldn't even complain if Santos would've won. Could see it 48-47 either way. I had Jones winning 2, 3 and 4. Jones hestitate way tooooo much post-usada... Go for it, and use your wrestling ffs.
Jones loses at HW to the top dogs based on recent outings.
Next thing to look forward to will be Masvidal in the post press presser. He is entertaining as with out even trying.
Santos definitely deserves a rematch for that. It was a close fight.
