If there is an official RBR please delete this thread. The preliminary card is on at the moment. A simple Google search for 'UFC 242' will show you the full schedule'.
I could give it a shot. It might not be as good as the usual RBR's on here because I have not attempted this before and that I am relatively new to UFC. I'll give a go and if anyone else including yourself wants to pitch in, your efforts would be much appreciated.
I wont be able to watch the fight, but dont worry, you could do it, good luck, we’re all counting on you.
Curtis Blaydes beats Shamil Abdurakhimov via second round TKO after a perfect elbow on the ground. Blaydes dominated both rounds, landing around 5 or 6 take-downs. Abdurakhimov's only success was a single left hook/uppercut in the second round however he had no time to follow up as Blaydes instantly replied with a swift take-down. A good stoppage for Blaydes, who was the heaviest favourite on the cards tonight.
Great idea. I'm not able to watch the fight so can you keep the thread updated with ring walks, round action and your scoring of the fight
Round 1: A very tense tentative feeling out round. Only single shots and no follow up shot. Both fighters very aware of the other's danger and not doing too much about it. Makhachev landed the best punch (straight right) around the middle of the round, however it was still too close to call. Draw.
rnd 2 Makhachev got into a rhythm. landed some nice shot and kept the distance. Ramos just not letting his hands go. He is waiting to counter to much.
Round 2: First 2 minutes were the same as the 1st round resulting a few boo's from the crowd, in that time Ramos landed the best attack, a solid jab. Final 3 minutes were Makhachev's as he landed straight right hands and hooks. Ramos seems to be waiting too much for something to happen. Makhachev.
Round 3: Makhachev drops Ramos with a knee in the clinch. Makhachev applies some ground and pound and top pressure. Ramos seems to have recovered although he still has Makhachev on top of him. Makhachev has kept him down there since almost the start of the round. Ramos did try some strike actions whilst down and he still has much more for the next round. Ramos was warned 3 times for interlocking his fingers in the ring fence. Makhachev.
