Coby can`t match his power and reach, Burns has a better stand up game than Coby and Chimaev beats anyone on the ground, he`s also bigger and stronger than anyone Usman has fought.

Burns has a better stand up game than Usman, all Usman has is strength and a powerful shot, Chimaev will have too much reach for him and is bigger and stronger.

I don`t think either Coby or Usman can stop Chimaev.

I only meant that it wouldn't surprise me if their first fight had gone to the scorecards the judges would have tried to deny Yan the victory.

Judges told they "blew" decision in Aljamain Sterling vs Petr Yan UFC title fight
UFC president Dana White has claimed that the judges "blew" the final decision after Sterling was crowned bantamweight champion, with White scoring the contest three rounds to two in favour of Yan.
White has confirmed he had Yan in a narrow lead on his scorecard, but a rematch will be there for the Russian in the future. “I thought the judges blew that one,” White said at the post-fight press conference. “I had it 3-2 (for Yan).

I thought Yan had 3 rds to 2 but on first watching I thought rd 2 may have been a 10-8 to Sterling ? which would make the fight a draw. Sterling did land some damaging ground n' pound along with the back take control. Yan didn't lose the fight imo.

Volkanovski looked absolutely incredible defending his title.

I thought Torres clearly beat Dern 29-28. Rds 1 and 3 to Torres. Though this fight was easy to score.

Credit to Burns for his fight against Chimaev but Chimaev won 29-28 imo. Great fight. Some people may think this slows the hype but I'm even more convinced he will be champ because he showed a great chin, good cardio to go the distance in a brutal fight. Chimaev is a warrior. He will only get better and better. Usman is nearly 35 yrs old and will lose to either Edwards or Chimaev imo. No way he beats both of them.

Could be but i think Yan would have won that easily. The second fight last night was close. R1 was basically a 50/50 round and the other 4 rounds were pretty straight forward and easy to score (2,3 to Aljo, 4,5 to Yan). So 48-47 either way is fine. Not sure why people so upset about it all over the WWW.

I don’t really get what the issue is.

Khamzat impressed me. Burns is class. Took his best shots, had a great fight and rightfully came out on top.

He will learn from this and get better. The weight may be an issue shortly as he does look like he cuts a huge amount but great fight and good win.

Very true. Wasn’t a robbery. I think it was fair enough although just because the Aljo fighting style is not fan friendly doesn’t mean he hasn’t legitimately won a round. I think 3-2 is fine

Absolutely. And Yan didn't even batter him on the feet in 4 & 5 like many expected, the did basically the same as Aljo in 2 & 3 just less technical and less dominant position-wise. Yan should be happy that no judge scored one of those two rounds 10-8 for Aljo. Otherwise the scorecards would have been MUCH clearer in Aljos favor.

I have only seen the highlights for Burns vs. Chimaev but it seemed very close. I think Chimaev needs a 5 round fight before going in for a title fight.

Usman will destroy Edwards in my opinion and if he fought Chimaev right now he would still have too much.

I feel really bad for Yan, had he not thrown that knee in the 1st fight he'd be champion right now. He was dominating and well on his way to knocking out that boring bum Sterling. The deck was stacked against him with all the current anti-Russian hatred in the West and his corner all being denied VISAs. Now with 2 Ls on paper he's going to have to climb his way back into the title picture.
