Islam is such a a high level grappler, Dustin has no chance on the ground. He's gotta land a big shot right about NOW!

 

Typical. The opponent has a good round but it doesn´t change much as Makhachev simply grinds down the opponent.
Khabib was exactly the same. You could stuff his takedowns, get back up and even trade with him. But in the end it was Khabib who won in the stamina war.

 

No way Islam will stand up for long. Lol he's a grappler

 

He is growing in confidence and striking more and more.
Khabib was the same way. Especially when the opponent managed to stuff takedowns.

 

His striking isn't bad either, it's much better than Khabibs was, but his bread and butter is grappling, he's always going to take it there.

Poirier is going to retire Tonite. Good effort from Dustin, hes one of my favorite MMA fighters ever!

 

he put up a valiant effort. I am a fan. Have been a fan of his for a long time. He has earned a well deserved retirement. Great fighter and hope he enjoys his retirement.

 

I think Edwards-Islam would be a hell of a fight.
