I wouldn't say he's terrible on the ground, he avoided numerous submission attempts against a very good JJ fighter.

Yea but it was kinda obvious that he had almost no technique on the ground. No doubt that results were fine but if he fights a better BJJ guy i think he might get caught in a sub.

I can't stress this enough, all of you Randy doubters need to seek forgiveness and repent for your sins. Randy is a forgiving deity, but you must wash yourself clean of your sins.

I thought his defence on the ground was very good against a guy who has a strong background in bjj, and he did a good job of controlling his opponent on the ground. Crane did appear to tire early, and was defintely not as strong as Huerta, but I was still impressed by Huertas overall performance. He now has 5 wins in the ufc, I hope they step up the levlel of his competition soon. I dont see why they wouldnt.

I'm so happy St. Pierre humbled and shut up Koscheck. The best part about the whole thing is that with 1 minute remaininig in the fight Koscheck said he congratulated GSP, and GSP thanked him with another elbow to the head :rofl

    Huh? what?

Kos said in his post-fight interview that with very little time left in the fight he said "congratulations Georges..." and St. Pierre didn't say anything back (obviously because they were still fighting) and he gave him another elbow in the head.

So wouldn't that mean, that in utilizing his strength, he is a little better than "terrible" on the ground??? :think

rofl, thats awesome. I didn't know that.

Huerta in terms of skill is terrible on the ground. Strength isn't everything when it comes to knowing how submit someone or stay away from submitions.
