Thought it was kind of a weak stoppage but they where some nasty knees, plus Serra ain't complaining much about it.

I thought maybe he verbally submitted, but it was hard to tell.

It really did look like one. As did GSP-Hughes III. We are watching an incredible talent enter (or smack in the middle of) his prime.

Might have seemed a bit quick at first but with the slowmo Serra's head was bouncing from the knees and he wasn't defending. He was looking to be hurt bad.

It's not a weak stoppage when you got a guy lying down doing nothing to defend himself.

My record tonight is 2-0 for boxing predictions (Calzaghe and Adamek) and 0-2 for MMA (St. Pierre and Franklin).

    Not bad. I guess.

Lesson learned: Never pick a Candadian to lose in Canada. It doesn't happen!!!

Or more specific, never pick St. Pierre to lose a rematch. That doesn't happen, either.

Who was that guy who beat Karo Parysian? Can't remember his name. But he was pretty good.

I pansied out and sat on the fence tonight when it came to predictions. Last time I made predictions, I was so wrong I thought I should quit watching MMA :rofl

YES! That's what I was thinking before.

Hughes-Serra is now a possibility because if Serra had won, there would be no backing for a Hughes-Serra fight. But now their both contenders.

I like the idea. This one is very likely to happen.

I think so. Actually, I think he needs a couple more name fights. But that might be an attractive fight a year from now.
