I see no need for Penn-GSP again. I'd much rather see them dominate the divisions they belong in (and by that token, both keep winning indefinitely).
Yeah. Penn is much, much better off at 155. He's unstoppable at that weight, as far as I'm concerned.
Penn seems a decent sort and he's a great fighter, why would I want to see him get beat. I know why you want to see GSP win, because he's from Quebec. Now I've got absolutely nothing against GSP, phenominal fighter and a complete fighter at that, I in fact like GSP, but I like him as a fighter, you only like him because he's from your territory. If Penn was from your terrirtory and GSP was Hawaiin, you'd go for Penn.:yep
Why was Sherk so out of it tonight? Doesn't he usally come charging out of his corner looking for a take down?
I like GSP because I've talk to him like 3 or 4 time at William club...you havent see a much classy guy..on top of that..he is PHENOMENAL and do not slap go watch Calslappy now.. thanks you no-life
He tried one in the first round, then quit. I'm not really sure what was up with his gameplan tonight. It was a little odd watching two ground fighters stand the entire fight.
Yeah I would like to see it again. Why not? The 2 best from their respective divisions. I also have cought hell saying I would like to see GSP move up and fight Silva. Why not? Sure Silva would be the favorite but GSP is a monster and the fight would be huge. Too bad the fighters would not see the millions they deserve. :-( GSP still has some very dangerous fighters that are coming up at 170. I don't see anyone beating Penn or Silva for a while though.
Matchida won a unanimous decision. Great fight, too. Well, I batted 2/3 today as far as predictions: Machida and Silva won, as I predicted. BJ Penn proved me wrong; Penn just could not miss Sherk's face with his jab.
