Even if it is the biggest, I still find that funny.

    Not high on Sherk. :good

Still a fight out there for Hughes that I would be interested in.. Hughes vs. Serra.. Thats a fight we never got that could be good if Hughes is still up for it.

Id like to see it but id rather Alves KO Hughes and we see Alves-GSP im curious to see GSP in a Muay Thai fight. But I wouldnt mind seeing GSP-Penn agian as both have improved since that fight and id love to see it 5 rounds the last fight was incredibly close we know BJ wins 1,GSP wins 2 but 3 GSP took him down twice but BJ got him down once and did alot more from his guard off his back with strikes and looking for submissions using the rubber guard and attempting umaplatas etc. Very close fight I want it agian but I also want Penn vs Florian/Huerta winner. If Penn moves up agian we can have Sherk face Florian-Huerta for the belt. Too many damn possible matchups im getting confused on what I want :huh BTW I also want GSP-Anderson Silva :yep

Its happening after he fights Alves, win or lose.

Alves will be a very tough fight for Hughes, Serra will get ragdolled like he did against GSP.

I think that BJ should go for the rubbermatch with Hughes.......if Matt is up to it.

Then a rematch with GSP, since, INITIALLY Penn was giving GSP fits and bloodying him.

Fight was a split decision loss, and coulda very well been a DRAW.

Penn should stay where he is. He could dominate for quite awhile.

Good summary Beebs. Palhares's BJJ looked amazing and he made it look so easy. I thinks its the first time Salaverry has been submitted. Soku looked good but I'm disappointed in Nakamura as he never even tryed to take it to the ground. Lately he has not been using much on his Judo skills and for some reason prefers standing. Wouldn't surprise me if UFC let him go and he goes to Sengoku. Beebs completly agree with you on what you said about Machida. I am sure the UFC is hoping he doesn't win the title due to his style. Happy Wand won and as I said in the other thread I think he will most likely fight one of the victourious Light-heavyweights from this event. Also glad Yoshiyuki Yoshida and Dong Hyun Kim won their UFC debuts. Dong put on a elbow clinic on Tan and Yoshida showed how to choke out a ultimate fighter in under a minute.

Forgot about Yoshida, he looked dominant, liked the anaconda choke.

Soko uses his Judo a lot, just don't recognize it as much because he uses more subtle moves like ouchi gari. Might not recognize it unless you see it some.. His overall movements in the clinch remind me of regular Judo.. Maintaining balance and controlling in that position is what allows him to remain standing.

His best bet is to utilize his strength in Judo to force a standup fight.. But he should also get better at gnp. He seemed slow on the ground in his last loss. He put Machida on his back with the ouchi gari, Machida recovered quickly and ended up in dominant position.. Soko looks bad on his back, but I don't think anyone wants him on top. Needs some work on the ground and has shown good standup.

I am not so sure Penn could beat Josh Koscheck. Koscheck is a better wrestler and striker (he's improved) than Sherk and is more athletic not to mention a big 170 lber. I say Koscheck is the second behind GSP in that wgt. class.

Koscheck would get tooled in the striking and his submissions arent anything to get exicted about. BJ beats his ass and brutally.
