didnt happen. sorry. In all seriousness though, I think you must've had Almeida confused with someone else if you thought he would "pound Cote out". I saw the fight as being pretty much 50-50 coming into it, but if the big dog was gonna win, it wouldve been by sub, or maybe decsion. I like Almeida, hes one of those guys who is very classy and hard not to like. But honestly, he was EXTREMELY overrated coming into this fight by many people. Those who thought Almeida would just take him down and finish him easily are out of their minds. Here we have a guy with zero standup and mediocre wrestling, but since he has sick BJJ, and he subbed the great Rob Yundt very quickly, he was hyped up by certain mma fans to be some sort of God. And yes, I am aware of what he did before his hiatus. I also thought it was funny to hear the delusional Rogan at the end of the fight, acting as if it was really tough to score this fight. Almeida did absolutely nothing in rounds 2 and 3, so it was very easy to score the bout 29-28 for the Predator. Very happy that Cote won, and it shoul have been a UD.
