Mark Coleman has picked up a knee injury and has pulled out of the Lesnar fight. Also GSP vs Fitch has officially been added to the UFC 87 card. The other confirmed fight for this card is Kenny Florian Vs. Roger Huerta.

Yeah Lesnar is still on the card. The UFC site states they will be annoucing a new opponent soon.

Im glad GSP is fighting on this card. I was looking forward to Lesnar-Coleman but probablly not enough to order this. The UFC should load this card up real good have GSP-Fitch,Florian-Huerta,Lesnar vs someone maybe like Eddie Sanchez and have Anderson Silva defend his title vs Yushin Okami.

Doubt they'd put two title defenses on the same card, but Lesnar vs. Sanchez would be a great matchup. He's the kind of guy Brock should have gotten the first time around: A semi-decent striker with a couple UFC wins under his belt. I really like that suggestion.

This is great, the only good thing about Lesnar-Coleman was that Coleman would get another paycheck.

Herring or Kongo would be interesting, I think Lesnar would steamroll Kongo, less sure about Herring.

I think the UFC really ****ed up with the Mir fight. They probablly figured ohh Mirs shot he isnt who he was 4 years ago so Brock should maul him and have a Champion on is resume all ready. Going into that fight im laughing like I cant believe they are sticking a novice in there with a BJJ stud whos whole game is based on weathering storms and captualizing on mistakes.

Don't know to be honest, I think they will get him a name he can beat, that was the idea with a 45 year old Coleman who despite all his greatness, is not what he used to be.

I honestly think they did that for a reason....do you think Dana relly wanted some guy from WWE come in and beat their former champ?. I think it played exactly as they thought with Lesnar dominating but getting caught by a "pro"MMA guy. They had to show Lesnar was the real deal but at the same time show a top mma guy could beat him. Lesnar will be a force....but if he came in and beat a UFC veteran it would have looked bad. IMO

Brock Lesnar should've been fed some easy fights like Kimbo was, just to get him started. Instead they kinda threw him to the wolves so to speak.

Dam shame i was really looking forward to seeing what Coleman had left. At his age the injuries are only going to get worse and longer.
