No other boxing PPV this year has done anything remotely decent in PPV buys

UFC 91 which featured Randy Couture v Brock Lesnar got 800K buys. They were hoping for million plus but given the economy that's a good figure

Can Pac v DLH surpass that figure ?

Hey have you noticed that one of Juan Manuel Marquez' entourage is cuauhtemoc brother. In fact on one occasion Cuauhtemoc came out with Marquez. I believe it was the 2nd pac fight.

My guess is that with this economy, this close to Xmas, the PPV will not do too well. 8-900,000 buys.

Those numbers aren't official. They are estimating it done that many buys. But a few months back they estimated the Anderson Silva PPV to have done somewhere in the 600s, but when it was all said and done, the final number was in the 300s.

Anyway, De La Hoya vs. Mayorga did 900K. This fight probably does around the same, if not more.

It will beat it but not by much imo, only Dela Hoya or Tyson PPVs can or could compete with MMA.
