yeah nobody watched that fight,,,if they were to lie they would say more than 800k...pbf odh was 2.2 mil
mma is normally around 400 grand...alot of ppvs in boxing would make that...i am a fan of both but if boxing had one huge ppv a month it would far surpass mma numbers.....u can't have JCC JR v VANDA on PPV
Boxing's most popular fighter against boxing's most entertaining/top P4P fighter. This fight will easily surpass 800K. I will say it does about 1.5 million.
Theres no surprise here...UFC is way more popular than boxing...the problem is they have so many unknowledgable fans. Take Shitdog vs. ESB...the former is 10 times bigger.. at least...It takes a superfight for boxing to even come close.. The question is this..has the UFC/MMA peaked? we dont know..if they have not..then you'll see the UFC surpassing the NHL and Nascar next If they have then no one will remember it in 20 years
honestly, i think it will get about 500,000 - 700,000.... im usually right about ppv numbers too. I remember people thinking cotto marg was gonna do 600,000, and i said no way.... same here, although his past performances have always sold well.... for one reason or another i dont see this one selling more then 700,000 but we will see.
I cringe when I see anyone post anything about MMA a.k.a human **** fighting even if it is a comparison to boxing.
Dana White said he expected 1.2 million. What a joke. I think DLH vs Mayorga did 900k or so PPV buys. Regardless, I am going to watch it for free on a stream. Screw that greedy ***** DLH.
nah, I am going to leave Roy alone for a while. I actually felt bad for him after I watched the Calzaghe replay on HBO.
